How we manage our content & editorial process.
The mission of Rolling Hills Recovery Center (RHRC) is to provide you with trustworthy, relevant, and accurate information about current events in addiction medicine and addiction treatment so that you may make educated decisions about your mental health and well-being. So how do we guarantee the quality of the content we publish?
We provide materials that reflect current, relevant information addressing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. They also consider the most recent breakthroughs in the field and the impact of drug misuse or addiction on families and communities.
The main goal of this material is to improve your understanding of addiction so that you can decide what’s best for you or your loved ones.
All content is produced and revised by our staff and team of writers in accordance with the four tenets of our editorial process:
Gaining and sustaining trust.
Preserving high standards for mental health education.
Placing a priority on accuracy, empathy, and inclusivity.
Continuously monitoring and editing the information — to always be able to get relevant info when you need it.
We put much effort into ensuring that our information is truthful and accurate. Still, it should never be a substitute for the advice, diagnoses, or treatment qualified medical and mental health specialists offer.
Our experienced staff is available 24/7 to answer any questions you may have. Call today and change your tomorrow.
While many online health resources exist, only some are user-friendly and accurate. We provide information you can trust as being accurate, truthful, grounded on scientific data, easily understood, verifiable, and valuable.
Our articles focus on your health and wellness, explaining the relationship between your daily routines and overall health. To that end, we present a balanced and inclusive examination of various issues. RHRC consults a broad range of trustworthy sources for its research, including the following reliable resources:

Rolling Hills Recovery Center understands that using stigmatizing language can make people in the general public feel pity, dread, anger, and a need to avoid people with substance use disorders. It can also reinforce the notion that substance use disorders are a moral flaw (rather than a diagnosable disorder) and decrease the likelihood that these people will continue their treatment. Therefore, we try to steer clear of stigmatizing language in our publications.
RHRC acknowledges that addiction affects people of all genders and orientations. We thus seek to disseminate knowledge about addiction that focuses on tolerance, sensitivity, and compassion. In addition, we try to use neutral, fair to all readers, and ethical language.
Some of our publications incorporate the thoughts of our team members who work at our center; thanks to their contributions to thought leadership, we can remain on the cutting edge of industry standards and the most effective addiction treatment methods.
You can rely on our team of experts to provide sound guidance and information. They ensure everything we publish is accurate, accessible, and up-to-date with the newest mental health and scientific community findings.
Words don’t magically rearrange into comprehensible, innovative, and helpful prose. They require the assistance of those knowledgeable in putting the pieces together. Even while this is not a very difficult task, writing on issues related to mental health is a whole new ballgame. We use both in-house and contracted writers with deep expertise in many areas of mental health and related fields. Their commitment to excellence is inspiring. It takes time to discover good writers who care deeply about mental health. However, we prevailed, and RHRC today boasts the industry’s finest writers and editors.
RHRC’s goal is to provide people and families with the knowledge necessary to make educated choices around addiction by offering factual, unbiased, and up-to-date information.
