Rolling Hills Recovery Center is an outpatient substance abuse treatment program whose mission is to provide comprehensive professional care that recognizes the dignity of all persons struggling against alcohol and drug addiction and abuse. We believe that successful change can be achieved by utilizing our psychological, environmental, and socially focused interventions in an integrated treatment setting.
The overall goal of Rolling Hills Recovery Center is to increase the quality of life of the persons served through the provision of our services. In addition, secondary objectives include:
To improve social functioning in vocational, social, family, and community integration.
To minimize and eliminate the use of substances that contribute to decreased quality of life.
To improve psychosocial adjustment and functioning within the context of the person’s current living environments.
Rolling Hills Recovery Center seeks to achieve the following specific objectives:
To improve quality of life and affect daily living.
To provide therapy in a manner that decreases the use of illicit substances.
To improve vocational functioning.
To improve social and family relationships.
To decrease any incident of legal problems.
To increase involvement and participation within the community.
Family Therapy – Family support groups focus on interpersonal relationships, home environment, and mutual understanding for the recovering individual.
Group Therapy – The group therapy approach allows you to benefit through direct interaction with other group members and the therapist’s input and interaction.
Individual Therapy – Individual therapy in substance use involves one or more therapists for a single person struggling with addiction. Addiction recovery through individual treatment is a personalized way of medicine.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – A psychotherapy technique based on the idea that human behavior results from thinking and emotion. It helps people understand how they can change their thoughts and feelings, resulting in behavioral changes.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Helps patients learn to control their thoughts, feelings, and actions effectively and live a happy and healthy life.
12-Step Meetings – The 12-Step approach is a spiritual, abstinence-based program that provides guiding principles for treating various substances (alcohol & drugs) and behavioral addictions.
Psychotherapy – Psychotherapy narrates the procedure of mental health disorders to communicate with a person using physiological techniques.
Recreational Therapy – Also known as therapeutic recreation, is a set of creative, recreational activities designed to assist recovering addicts with their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Music Therapy – A significant factor in addiction recovery treatment because music changes our mood, ability to express ourselves, and communication skills.
Art Therapy – A form of psychotherapy used in mental health and substance abuse recovery to promote self-expression.
Yoga Therapy – An excellent mood stabilizer, helping yogi regulate their emotions and keep a positive outlook on life. Yoga for addiction treatment allows the yogi and recovering addict to try healthier coping options.
Reiki Therapy – Reiki is powerful and healing; people seeking addiction treatment may benefit from Reiki as an added practice to care or the sole means of care.
Massage Therapy – Can help improve a person’s circulation and decrease stiffness, regulate the production of hormones such as cortisol and HGH, soothe sore muscles, relax tension in the body and help to sleep.
